The MARKER ALPINIST 8 is a binding designed for ski mountaineers who want lightness, maneuverability and performance. It provides both uphill and downhill performance.

For ascents, the reduced weight will be a definite advantage in reducing your fatigue, while the three climbing wedges will allow you to easily adapt to the slope. The front fender has a fitting aid and is reinforced with carbon to provide strength and lightness.
For the descent, power transfer is guaranteed by a wide screw wheelbase while safety is not left out thanks to the lateral heel release in case of a fall.
Details such as anti-ice pads under the toe cap and heel cap complete this attachment. It can be equipped with a leash or ski stops (not included, available separately).
