The Marker Brand Strength

Their strength lies in different things, including releasable technology and numerous modern designs.

Releasable Technology

Marker's first binding was the Duplex, which was later followed by the Simplex toe. These were their first products to be produced with releasable technology. The Simplex system utilised one metal piece that was easy to rotate to either side and on a cam plate. This system allowed the boot to move directly to the side easily. It was also paired with another new design made for the heel cable. This was formerly looped around the whole boot to a level located at the front that offered tension. All this was replaced with only a part of the binding at the back of the boot thus, moving the level to the cable. The new releasable technology helps minimise skiers' injuries since it detaches the ski from the foot in case the rider suffers a fall.

Modern Designs

In 2007, this company released a brand new Freeski system for bindings. It redefined all the performance features for their freeride bindings. They followed this with two other new bindings the following year based on the same system. The Duke allows riders to switch stances easily so that they can adjust for a park or all-mountain configuration.

Marker's Best Sellers

With so many products from Marker to choose from, you are bound to get confused as to which one to select. Here are some of their best sellers.

Duke 16 EPF

This product comes with an extended power frame chassis, which forms the basis of its ultimate power transmission. The binding is ideal for ski widths that are more than 88 mm. If you are a huge mountain freeskier, consider getting the Duke's heel bracket and magnesium toe wings as they will give you the best performance to ski the biggest lines.

Jester 18 PRO

This is their pro-level binding for huge mountain freeskiing, pipe and park riding. Its triple pivot toe is reinforced by a horizontal torsion bar and a lateral precision. Also, this tool is very handy when it comes to scrapping off snow from the sole of your boot. The binding also has the AFD fixed to maximise power transmission and retention for experienced skiers especially when they are landing backwards.
