The LF05X wax fills the hardness gap between series 4 and 6. The waxes are easier to apply than those of the series 4, but provide exceptional gliding properties within this temperature range and offer high durability. The LF05X can be used a race wax by itself or as a base for Cera F powder such as FC05X. LFX waxes by SWIX are made of fluorated hydrocarbon with a low percentage of fluorocarbon and with a low fusion point. They are used as training wax or racing wax with Cera F as a final layer, or alone as racing waxes for very low temperatures. Temperature and color scales of LFX waxes correspond to those of the HFX category.
