Lightweight and compact, the XENAIR ALPINE LIGHT from Rab is a hooded jacket for men designed to adapt to the efforts of sportsmen and women who enjoy mountain activities requiring frequent stops.

Adaptable, lightweight and versatile, this double-density synthetic insulation model offers excellent thermal performance in changing conditions and for activities requiring frequent stops. It's made from a highly breathable, weather-resistant Pertex Quantum Air outer fabric and two densities of PrimaLoft Gold Active+ recycl insulation, specially designed to retain warmth during stops and encourage air circulation during physical exertion. By using the body's strategic zones to distribute the different densities of insulation (the least dense insulation under the arms, on the sides, along the spine and on the top of the head), this jacket regulates body temperature, eliminating the need to constantly put on and take off clothes.

Its effectiveness is further enhanced by the presence of effort-optimized features such as articulated sleeves, a light YKK front zipper, a comfortable chin strap and lasticized cuffs for easy glove coverage, an adjustable waistband, a helmet-compatible hood and three invisible YKK zipped pockets, one of which doubles as a storage bag.
