Specially developed to support freeriders, the Free Rider 26 S from Ortovox is a new backpack that combines great comfort and functionality to help you escape the mountains with confidence.

Offering maximum versatility and freedom of movement when skiing, this backpack fits perfectly on the back like a second skin. With a focus on the environment, it is completely PFC-free and carbon-neutral, thanks to recycled polyester. What's more, this model maximises safety as it is compatible with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR back protector, which can be slipped inside the bag. On the other hand, this model is very comfortable since it has a wide, flat, elastic waistband at the hips, and soft back pads that hug the back perfectly without hindering vertebrae in their movements. Its 26-litre volume provides space for skins, knives and crampons, while a separate safety compartment is dedicated to emergency equipment and access to the contents of the main compartment is via the front or rear of the bag.

This bag adds a host of attachment options for skis, ice axe or rope, and features a helmet net, an emergency card and is compatible with a hydration system.
