The POLARIS OPTIFUEL & FUEL from Optimus is a multi-fuel stove. This means it works with both gas cartridges and the included liquid fuels.
This model features the Nova burner (used on the Nova and Nova+). It's a high-performance stove designed for versatile, intensive use: travel, mountain and expedition. Thanks to this duo system, you can switch from gas to petrol and vice versa, depending on location, altitude and weather conditions. Depending on fuel supply, you can choose between gas or liquid fuel combustion. In terms of performance, this burner generates 14340 BTU, or 4200 Watts, enabling 1 liter of water to be brought to boiling point in 3.4 minutes (with gasoline) and 4 minutes with a gas cartridge (11267 BTU / 3300 Watts).
The Polaris features a flame control tap on the burner (easy to operate with gloves) and a tap on the fuel bottle.
