The BACKLAND XTD 100 GW is Atomic's newest ski touring boot. Lightweight, they are ideal for amateur skiers as well as the most fastidious who don't want to stay on tracked trails.
This model is just as efficient for ascents as it is for descents. The walk mode ensures a smooth ascent. In ski mode, you'll appreciate its competitiveness. More off-piste oriented, this ski boot will still do very well in the resort for a short run, but its ability to steer the skis will give you much more confidence when you're out in the powder. It also guarantees good rebound and lateral rigidity for fast, technical or longer turns. Putting it on or taking it off is just as easy, and the transition between the two modes is just as convenient, thanks to the two-buckle system.
