Technology

The company regards itself as a pioneer of technology when it comes to ski sport sector. It aims to make each skier a better one. Some of the Atomic milestone innovations include the HY-Vitronic construction in 1980, the Bionic System in 1979 and also the Doubledeck that they invented in 2008. This was the initial technology to adapt automatically to the flex and the radius to the skier's style and also skiing conditions. In 2009, Atomic managed to develop the LiveFit, which is a ski boot that automatically adapts to the skier's foot shape. Since then, their skis have also come available with different Rocker technologies. In the recent past, they developed Memory Fit, which is a heat fitting technology designed to adapt the boot to a skier's foot. You can find this on two of the top selling boots on the market. Atomic is also known for developing environmentally-friendly products. Their factory in Altenmarkt utilises a timber pellet heating system when carrying out their manufacture. Also, their Renu line features boots and skis that are hugely produced using renewable and recyclable materials.

Currently, it sponsors female and male athletes who take part in ski racing, Nordic combined skiers, freestyle skiing, biathlon racers, touring skiers and long-distance skiers.
