The Atomic Backland Carbon is the star of our Backland Series. It’s the most downhill-oriented Backland touring boot we make – but it doesn’t sacrifice uphill performance. A washable, breathable liner keeps your feet dry, and the Boa Fit System makes tightening the boot easy. Frictionless Pivot gives you the freedom of movement to move quickly up the mountain in total comfort. The Free / Lock 4.0 system keeps the boot easy to maneuver heading up, then lets you lock in the cuff for a smooth downhill session. The Carbon Spine offers stiffness and control – with a progressive flex on par with our Hawx Prime 110 S. When you’re done, you’ll want to head right back uphill.
