Its featherweight of 60 grams makes it invisible since it is made of ultra-light anthracite polyethylene foam with a density of 50 kg/m3. This means it provides optimal insulation from hostile ground conditions, whether thawing or freezing. In addition, its sublimation process perfectly bonds the foam to the colored nylon fabric that covers the top of the mat.
This mat also features a "leash" system, consisting of a 2 mm diameter elastic bungee cord and a 2 cm plastic snap hook. This simple and effective system allows the mat to be attached to a backpack or trouser strap to prevent it from flying away!
