A special Tourlite Woodcore and Superlite Outline have been integrated into the Rise 80 to further trim the weight. The ICE.OFF topsheet lessens snow and ice weight 20-30%. Additionally the Tip Rocker profile provides lift and makes it easier to initiate turns in any condition, especially for women or younger touring skiers. The proven Skin Pin system allows fast de/attaching of skins.

A staple in Atomic's ski touring lineup , the BACKLAND TOUR 80 is an extremely lightweight insert binding specifically designed to fit Backland touring skis.
Weighing only 398g per pair, this binding is remarkably durable and easy to use. It features a patented front binding aid that automatically places the boot in the right position to engage the inserts. To facilitate the ascent, it adds two wedges that work independently of the heel, allowing you to alternate between 0, 7 and 13 inclinations in a single click, as well as 80 mm ski stops.
With a wide spacing (40mm) between the mounting screws, it ensures maximum power transmission with wide skis and offers a 50mm clearance for length adjustment, more than most other insert models. Finally, it is also compatible with standard blade models.

Volk has begun to produce skis 1923, in Germany, in the town of Straubing. The rich heritage of the society is dotted with incredible tradition and innovation in terms of skiing technology, such as the "rocker design" Extended Low-profile (ELP) which has recently made its appearance. The first one to combine finesse and manoeuvrability in deep snow with the versatility of the all mountain, to pull the days of storm as best as possible. The freeski range of the brand extends from the Big Mountain to the All Mountain, passing by the park and the pipe, for men and for women.
