The CH06X is an economic training and race wax, as well as wax for basic preparation for cold skis. The CH06X is highly durable and provides excellent performance in most snowy conditions, as well as on artificial and glacier snow.
The range of SWIX CHX waxes is fluorocarbon-free. It has 100% high performance hydrocarbon paraffin. Although they can be considered as economic race waxes, the cold waxes are very effective by themselves, while the hot waxes are more suitable as a base layer for CERA F.
Their colours and their temperature scales coincide with those of the HFX and LFX waxes. The CHX waxes are distinguished from the LFX waxes by their darker shades.

Swix is a Norwegian company manufacturing ski wax, ski poles and sportswear. The company belongs to the Ferd AS investment company and has their headquarters in Lillehammer.
Swix was founded in Sweden in 1946 by Börje Gabrielsson, based on the Swedish skier Martin Matsbo's experience of ski wax.
Swix was the first manufacturer of wax for modern skis and takes a scientific approach to their development work.Their wax is color-coded by type of wax, a practice that has since been adopted by the entire wax industry.
Production was originally based in Sweden, and subsequently in Norway near Oslo.
In 1964, all production was transferred to Norway. In 1974, Swix purchased Liljedahls Skistavfabrikk in Lillehammer bringing the brand under the Swix name, this resulted in the company becoming a leading manufacturer of ski poles. Swix was bought by Ferd in 1978. Finally, Swix purchased the Norheim company in 1989 and has used it to become established and grow within the sportswear market.
