Very clever, the T1 STEP LOCKER from Spark R&D is a splitboard accessory that locks the heel in walking mode.
Once activated, this heel locker allows to take small descents more confidently because the heel is maintained. The design also makes it easier than ever, with the ability to turn the lever to the locked position, then simply step off to lock the heel. The heel remains locked until the lever is raised to the unlocked position. It is recommended to do this by hand for best long term durability.
This accessory requires approximately 89mm between the rear heel pad insert and the puck to allow the lever to move from one position to another.
