A staple in Atomic's ski touring lineup , the BACKLAND TOUR 80 is an extremely lightweight insert binding specifically designed to fit Backland touring skis.
Weighing only 398g per pair, this binding is remarkably durable and easy to use. It features a patented front binding aid that automatically places the boot in the right position to engage the inserts. To facilitate the ascent, it adds two wedges that work independently of the heel, allowing you to alternate between 0, 7 and 13 inclinations in a single click, as well as 80 mm ski stops.
With a wide spacing (40mm) between the mounting screws, it ensures maximum power transmission with wide skis and offers a 50mm clearance for length adjustment, more than most other insert models. Finally, it is also compatible with standard blade models.

Technology and tradition! Ski Trab is born from the passion of Jacques and trebuchets, who in 1946 built the first ski in solid wood. Since that time, the company has been constantly evolving and today it is the reference brand in the touring skis.
