VPD 2.0 technology (preformed foam that hardens on impact) provides excellent shock absorption. In terms of protection, the back plate is inserted into the jacket for a better fit. You can also wear it with or without a lumbar belt.
The mix of spandex and nylon stretch fabrics give this vest very good breathability and temperature regulation. On the practical side, the Spine jacket is easy to put on, thanks to a full front zip, and fits perfectly thanks to the Velcro lumbar belt.
