Intended for ice axes with adjustable heads, Petzl 's PUR'ICE is a blade specifically designed for ice climbing.
This sharp, lightweight steel blade provides excellent penetration of the ice and easy release. It is notched at the top to provide stable support when the ice axe is turned over. The lower teeth are beveled, while the upper edge is tapered for better ice cutting.
Compatible with Petzl ice axes with adjustable heads, this blade offers the possibility of adapting weights to optimize the balance of the ice axe.
