Ultra-light and modular, the PETZL FLY is a climbing harness specially designed fortechnical mountaineering and ski mountaineering. Its particularity is that it can be put on feet on the ground, with skis or crampons.
Designed for demanding mountaineers and skiers, this model is the lightest in the collection, yet compact thanks to its innovative buckle-free construction. Its comfort is adjustable as its foams are removable to provide maximum lightness and reach only 100g.
It is composed of multiple material holders and spindle loops that allow to carry all the necessary equipment for technical races.

The ultimate safety harness for the most demanding mountaineers and skiers:
- adapted for technical mountaineering and ski mountaineering,
- Can be worn with skis or crampons on the ground,
- Only 100g (size M) when fitted with comfort foams and 130g with. The extreme lightness and close fit provide total freedom of movement allowing the harness to be forgotten,
- Innovative buckle-free construction (Petzl patent). A sliding pin replaces the metal buckle for quick and easy adjustment of the belt. Thigh straps are adjustable with a lark's head,
- pure design,
- Minimalist cover allowing the harness to be compacted to the maximum and freeing up space in the bag.
Modular comfort:
- FUSEFRAME technology with removable foams allowing the comfort of the harness to be adapted to the configuration of the race. The comfort foams on the thighs and waistband can be easily removed for even more comfort,
- Comfortable suspension, thanks to the comfort foams that provide optimal load distribution.
Technology and durability:
- two gear loops and four buckles for transporting and organising the equipment needed for technical races,
- loops with silicon inside on each thigh to hold an ice pin,
- Attachment points, straps and gear loops reinforced with high density polyethylene (HDPE) for increased resistance to abrasion and chafing.
