The IRVIS HYBRID model from Petzl is, as its name suggests, a hybrid crampon with a steel front and an aluminum rear.
Ideally designed for skiing in glaciated environments, this crampon model includes a Universal Leverlock binding that fits all glacier touring, mountaineering and ski touring boots with a rear edge. These crampons have an excellent performance/technology/weight ratio and offer the possibility to cramp in ice. In addition, the Cord-Tec flexible connection system between the front and rear parts makes them very compact for transport.
These crampons are supplied with a carrying bag and an ANTISNOW anti-bottlenecking system that limits the formation of snow clogs.
