Anew safety kit for riders who want to minimize the weight in their bag, the RESCUE SET DIRACT VOICE LIGHT from Ortovox is an innovative, extremely light and intuitive piece of equipment that maximizes its effectiveness in stressful situations.
The innovative DIRACT VOICE offers integrated voice navigation that combines intuitive operation with advanced technology and a practical, sophisticated design. It is reduced to a single function button and provides intuitive guidance in stressful situations through clear announcements, symbols and a real-time 360° display. Its patented SMART ANTENNA technology makes finding buried victims much easier, while it analyzes the situation in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. In addition to the SEND and SEARCH modes, it adds a standby mode for signal suppression during the search. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides reliable power even at -20 C and is especially durable and environmentally friendly.
The package also includes a lightweight ALU 240 LIGHT probe weighing only 235 grams. The probe can be used in seconds thanks to the quick-release buckle and the Quick-Lock tensioning system. The tension of the probe can be adjusted easily and quickly thanks to the optimized adjustment screw. The probe's large tip, which is significantly larger in diameter than the probe elements, promises better penetration, while its segments are optimized. This makes it easy to slip into the backpack and has an easy-to-read depth gauge.
The BEAST CLASSIC is the extremely lightweight aluminum shovel that completes this safety package. It features innovative materials, modern manufacturing processes and well thought out voids on the shovel blade. In addition, the ergonomic hybrid handle ensures maximum power transmission. The 2.5 liter bucket has a high blade volume that can develop its full rigidity thanks to a rigid construction with a pronounced center meme and raised side cheeks.
