The RESCUE SET DIRACT offered by Ortovox is a safety pack that consists of innovative, lightweight and particularly intuitive equipment to maximize their effectiveness in stressful situations.

This 3-antenna avalanche transceiver has a stable display on first reception that reduces stress in an emergency and allows for a faster search. In addition, this unit is equipped with patented Smart Antenna technology, which analyzes the position of the unit in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best mission antenna. On the other hand, it benefits from a simple and logical design, which makes it particularly easy and intuitive to use, as a single button allows you to quickly mark victims or switch to standby mode, while the automatic switch from search and standby mode to transmission mode in the event of an over-avalanche guarantees total protection for the searcher. The large, fully graphic display remains easy to read even in extreme lighting conditions and intuitively guides the user through stressful situations with clear instructions and a 360° real-time display.

The 210-gram unit is lightweight and convenient to carry in the hand or glove with rubberized grip areas and fits easily into a pants pocket without using the quick-access carry feature, which automatically releases the unit when opened. In addition, a RECCO reflector is integrated into the carrying system, providing an extra option in the back-up mode for easy retrieval, and it has a special low temperature rechargeable battery that is particularly durable and environmentally friendly.

The pack also includes a lightweight ALU 240 probe weighing only 200 grams. The probe can be used in seconds thanks to the quick-release buckle and the Quick-Lock tension system, and can be adjusted to the correct tension quickly and easily thanks to the optimized adjustment screw. The probe's large tip, which is significantly larger in diameter than the probe elements, promises better penetration, while its segments are optimized. It is easy to slip into the backpack and has an easy-to-read depth gauge.

The BADGER is the extremely lightweight aluminum shovel that completes this safety package. It features innovative materials, modern manufacturing processes and well thought out voids on the shovel blade. In addition, the ergonomic hybrid handle ensures maximum power transmission. The 2.5 liter bucket has a high blade volume that can develop its full rigidity thanks to a rigid construction with a pronounced central meme and raised side cheeks. The top edge of the blade and a centering aid in the shank support allow for quick assembly.
