The 230 COMPETITION line is produced using a seamless circular knitting process to place different material strengths at different areas of the body. The basic ribbed structure is made from 190 g/m² MERINO, giving the functional pullover elasticity for maximum freedom of movement. A particularly breathable mesh structure provides optimum air circulation in the areas where the most heat is generated, while 240 g/m² wool warms areas that are sensitive to the cold, such as the kidney area. This body mapping principle allows for a close fit while providing maximum ventilation. This functional pullover is also quick drying and very durable.
Like the rest of the line, the 230 COMPETITION LONG PANTS for women have a sporty cut and gentle merino fibers with a diameter of 16.5 microns that feel as comfortably soft as a second skin. The refined design and use of printed yarn, which forms a special pattern thanks to the body mapping configuration, create a new look that really stands out.

Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral component of ORTOVOX's mountainwear. Our merino wool comes from happy sheep reared on monitored, ethical sheep farms. The wool is naturally ecological and therefore super sustainable. Thanks to the small-diameter fibers in its fine woolen threads, merino wool feels extremely soft and comfortable on the skin. In addition to comfort, merino wool also provides an ideal personal body climate by regulating both moisture and temperature. It is also easy to care for and, thanks to its antibacterial effect, odor neutralizing.
