The DIRACT VOICE SET X EKOSPORT safety kit from Ortovox is innovative, lightweight and particularly intuitive to maximise its effectiveness in stressful situations.

The DVA DIRACT VOICE provides integrated voice navigation that combines intuitive operation with cutting-edge technology and a practical, sophisticated design. It is reduced to a single function button and provides intuitive guidance in stressful situations thanks to clear announcements, symbols and a 360° real-time display. Its patented SMART ANTENNA technology makes it much easier to find buried victims, while it analyses the situation in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. In addition to SEND and SEARCH modes, it adds a wait mode for signal suppression during search. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides reliable power even at -20°C and is particularly durable and environmentally friendly.

The pack also includes a lightweight ALU 240 probe weighing just 200 grams. Can be used in seconds thanks to thequick attachment loop and the Quick-Lock tension system, this probe can adjust its tension easily and quickly thanks to the optimised adjustment screw. The probe's voluminous tip, whose diameter is much greater than that of the probe elements, promises better penetration, while its segments are optimised. It slips easily into your rucksack and has an easy-to-read depth gauge.

The BEAST PC is the lightweight aluminium shovel that completes this safety pack. It features innovative materials, modern manufacturing processes and well thought-out recesses on the shovel blade. What's more, its ergonomic hybrid handle ensures maximum power transmission. Its 2.3-litre bucket has a decent blade volume that can develop its full rigidity thanks to a rigid construction with a pronounced central core and raised side cheeks. On the upper edge of the blade, and a centring aid in the stem support allows rapid assembly.
