The ALU 240 LIGHT probe from Ortovox is a model that goes to the essential, reduced to the essential. Recommended for novice freeriders, it allows for easy handling for maximum search efficiency.

Featuring the Quick-Lock system, this probe is quick and easy to assemble, and can be unlocked and stored in seconds. An optimized adjustment screw allows for quick tension adjustment with one turn of the screw, while its bulky tip with a slightly larger diameter than the rest of the probe allows for better penetration into the snow. Made ofaluminum, it benefits from a remarkably light weight (235 g), especially since its diameter is only 11 mm.

Finally, like all the probes in the Ortovox range, it is equipped with a visual control system with depth indicator, a 1 meter mark and a fluorescent orange lower segment that allows you to optimize your strategy to rescue the victim.
