Created in collaboration with designer Franck Fontana, the PICNIC PLUS AVEC N°08 from Opinel is a cutlery set specially designed for picnics.
Comprising the N°08 knife with stainless steel blade in the traditional Yatagan shape, inspired by a Turkish sword, with the point raised, this kit adds clever, durable accessories. In fact, there are two inserts, a fork and a spoon, which attach to the handle of the knife, and a microfibre towel case that acts as storage and cleaner.
Made from stainless steel, these two inserts ensure comfort in the mouth, hygiene and robustness and are placed on the knife with the blade in the closed position, at the ferrule, in the small gaps. Simply close the ferrule to lock them in place.

- Includes: knife N°08 (wooden handle with double safety ring), fork and spoon, microfibre towel case.
- Beech handle: sourced from French farms, it is hard, strong and easy to work with. The handle is varnished for better protection against moisture and dirt.
- The traditional Opinel Yatagan blade: its shape is inspired by a Turkish sword with a raised tip. The blade is ground to an exclusive curved profile, guaranteeing its robustness and allowing high-performance sharpening.
- Martensitic stainless steel blade: hardness 55-57 HRC. European origin. Guaranteed high corrosion resistance and mechanical performance
- Blade length : 8.5 cm
- Virobloc safety ring: made up of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position, it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position.
