Perfect for picnics, first outdoor adventures and arts and crafts, this knife benefits from Opinel know-how and the same quality as the adult models for long-lasting durability. Suitable for children, this model features an 8cm stainless steel blade with a round tip, which ensures a good cutting edge while providing greater safety thanks to its rounded shape, and a handle made from beech wood from strong co-gres. Like all the knives in the range, it features a rotating safety ring to lock the blade in the open or closed position.
In the box, this knife comes with an environmentally-friendly belt sheath made from crushed plastic bottles (100% recycled PET) and leather regenerated from leather scraps from leather goods factories.

- Martensitic stainless steel: Duret 55-57 HRC. European origin. Optimized grade for light corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. Excellent cutting edge and abrasion resistance

- Beech handle: the most widely used wood for Opinel handles. Produced in France, it is hard, resistant and easy to work. It is uniform in appearance, with a light color ranging from yellow to pink. The handle is varnished for better protection against moisture and dirt.
- Scurit ring: invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted on all closing knives from the N06 upwards. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc consists of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safe to use), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (safe to transport).
