Specifically designed for advanced freeriders, the ALCHEMIST from K2 is a stylish snowboard that has everything to please.

The directional camber system allows this board to benefit from new technologies. The nose has been redesigned for better flotation, the shortened tail increases control in deep snow and stability. The Directional Camber technology is a board profile where the camber is positioned between the feet and there is a front rocker to facilitate flotation. This gives the rider more precision and control on all terrain while floating effortlessly in the deep.

With a directional shape for better handling on hard snow. The special feature of this model is an additive called Spectral Braid, which is a variable angle reinforcement that allows for precise twisting and bending by changing the orientation of the fibers along the length of the snowboard. It offers a lively, energetic and maneuverable board.

With many advantages, this board is a perfect tool for freeriding.

Outsole: Sintered 4001, this sintered base absorbs wax deep into the material for better glide and unmatched durability

SnoPhobic Topsheet: Prevents snow from accumulating on the board, keeping it light and fast

S1 Core: Made of three types of wood, bamboo and aspen are placed 30 below the foot to supercharge the root in the edge passage and increase pressure distribution along the edge. Lightweight paulownia is placed in the spatula and tail to reduce weight. The addition of bamboo in the tip and tail improves grip, stability and cushioning.

Triax Glass: Layers of glass laminates positioned diagonally increase torsional stiffness for increased stability and edge retention. The three layers of fiber are woven 45, 45 and 0 . This allows for a more ractive ride longitudinally and torsionally.

Spectral Braid: This is a variable angle reinforcement that allows for precisely regulated twisting and bending by changing the orientation of the fibers along the length of the snowboard. It provides a lively, energetic and maneuverable board

Space Glass: is an American aerospace grade fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at a reduced weight. They increase edge retention along contact points and product durability. Carbon Power Fork additives are strategically designed to provide better response and energy return by increasing width at the tail.
