The SKINS NOMAD PRO W/ QUICK TENSION TAIL CLIP from Jones is a premium pair of skins that offers the perfect compromise of glide,grip and durability.
This skin is made of fibers composed of 70% Mohair and 30% Synthetic Nylon. The natural mohair fibers provide unobstructed glide in all snow conditions, while the nylon fibers provide extra traction when the skin becomes stiff or icy. This improves durability over 100% mohair skins. Nomad skins are also laminated with a RUBBER SAFER SKIN backing. This rubber layer prevents the skins from absorbing water and makes them easier to remove.
These skins are also coated with a hydrophobic EVER DRY 3.0 treatment that improves their performance in wet snow and keeps them dry as long as possible. This model features a special binding system: the Quick Tension Clip adjusts in seconds, provides the perfect skin tension and is compatible with all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Youth Solution).

- Grip Tech: Grip Tech skins are made with a special material that performs well under dynamic tension and has a high resistance to torsion and abrasion
- Ever Dry 3.0 Treatment: Jones skins are treated with Ever Dry treatment. The coating prevents the skins from absorbing moisture and prevents snow/ice build-up under the skin
- Universal tip clip: securely attaches the skin to the tip of the splitboard ski
- Quick Tension Tail Clip: The Quick Tension Clip is a lightweight clip system designed for all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Discovery). Jones splitboards have a notch in the tail of both skis, which allows the Quick Tension Clip to simply slide into the notch and seal the skin. The Quick Tension Clip includes a durable rubber strap and a compact metal clip
