Comfortable and easy to handle, the Grivel K10G is a uniquely shaped carabiner with Twin-Gate wiregate and captive systems.
Featuring an hourglass shape, this unique model has a captive zone (held in place by a single wiregate finger) that isolates the belay section and ensures proper orientation even when the carabiner is open. For rappelling, but especially for belaying, it solves classic belaying problems. The double opening/closing of the Twin Gate (wireline finger) makes it easy to open accidentally; the flatness of the lower part of the gate makes it easier for the rope to pass through, and in the captive zone prevents overlapping or positioning in the minor axis. In addition, the rounding at the top facilitates the sliding of the rope and quickly causes it to be damaged, while the external tongue quickly goes on the edges and therefore malfunctions.
Very small and light, this carabiner adapts to the new fast and light trend, like the small diameters of today's ropes, and eliminates the superfluous. Highly reliable, it is individually tested and dates from the severe laser test.
