Fritschi's XENIC 7-85 is an insert binding with lateral release at the rear.

In fact, the pressure exerted on the ski remains constant even when the ski is flexed, and this system guarantees a precise release in all situations. What's more, the Release Lever tilts the boot forward after heel release, allowing it to be released at an angle of 65/75 for optimum safety. The heel's wide, direct contact with the guide plate makes the ski more dynamic. Operation is easy, with intuitive toe-in and precise pin insertion, 180 rotation of the climbing wedge and quick adjustment of wedge heights with the bton.
