The JAMMY 35CM from Beal is a climbing ring that can be used for a variety of purposes. Composed of a 5.5 mm aramid cord with a polyamide sheath, it can be used as a self-locking device on all rope diameters.
This 35 cm-long sewn ring is extremely reliable, providing very high strength (22 kN) even when subjected to high temperatures and repeated bending, thanks to Technora aramide. The flexible cord allows even small diameter ropes to be strangled. What's more, its seam is protected by a heat-shrink sleeve and it's lighter than mechanical systems.
