Founded in the 1960s, Tecnica has a proud history defined by their passion for hard work, growth and innovation. Perhaps the greatest example of the way that Tecnica lead the way is via their Moon Boot product, first manufactured in 1969. The company saw that there was a growing trend of skiing in their native land of Italy, and decided to emulate the style of boots that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin wore as they landed on the moon. The Tecnica Moon Boots became inextricably linked with the brand and have gone on to be a permanent reminder of Tecnica's enduring style.
