Sea to Summit's beginnings

Sea to Summit originated in Perth, Australia, in the early 80s. There, with few other options, its first would-be founder made his own climbing equipment on a sewing machine. The second founder, an avid diver befriended him in the years that followed. Together the two decided to do something about the lack of manufacturers in Australia, by making their own.
