Origins of Nordica

The origin of 'Nordica' starts in 1939 when two brothers founded the company in Montebelluna. They started off by selling casual footwear until after the war, when they started specialising in ski boots. By the 70's the company had affiliates with the USA, Austria, Japan, Switzerland, France and Germany. They covered 30% of the worlds production with an impressive output of 2 million boots/shoes! In 2003 the brand was purchased by the Tecnica group. The new organisation focused on high performance, competition ski products.

In 2006 Nordica incorporated the XBI integrated balance system into their skis so that skiers of all abilities have a smoother and more balanced experience.
