Origin of La Sportiva
La Sportiva was born in the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme in the Italian Dolomites in 1928 as shoemaker Narciso Delladio began making tough leather boots for the local farmers and woodcutters. Since that time, the company has continued to grow and expand beyond the rugged mountains and valleys of the Dolomites and now produces boots and shoes for all kinds of mountain sport, from trekking and running to climbing and mountaineering as well as making technical clothing for adventures of all kinds of running, climbing and ski mountaineering adventures.
