Description
ARV 116 JJ

TheARV 116 JJ is the largest of the Armada range dedicated to the backcountry. With its 116 mm skid, its AR Freestyle Rocker shape, this ski will not balk at any obstacle. Whether you're into wide open spaces and tricks of all kinds, this ski offers the perfect amount of lift for your favorite sport.

Jumping off rocky bars or pillows, and stretching out on virgin snow, this ski gobbles up everything in its path; even the most difficult snow, thanks to its AR75 Sidewall construction, which makes it tolerant in the tip and tail, while maintaining impeccable grip on hard snow. This model is not only dedicated to ideal riding conditions, even if it will remain a ski much more at ease in fresh or transformed snow.
In fresh snow, this ski brings a "surfy" touch of snow, in particular thanks to the Smear Tech design and its 3D profiling in the tip and heel, which will allow you to slash as you wish in off-piste.

Although its main area of interest is powder, this ski will also be at ease in snowy conditions, to offer you great sensations wherever fresh snow will guide you through the season.

ARV 116 JJ

  • AR75 Sidewall : semi-cap sandwich construction, combining softness and forgiveness in the tip and tail, and a powerful and sturdy flex underfoot, to avoid losing power on hard snow
  • Poplar Ash Core : this wood core combines the lightness of poplar with the stiffness of ash, to offer a lively and powerful ride
  • AR Freestyle Rocker : a rocker in the tip and tail is combined with a positive camber under the foot, which provides the ideal pop for spinning or pressing, while increasing the versatility of the ski, making it maneuverable on hard, changing or fresh snow
  • S7 Base: this is the standard base used for the majority of the skis in the range. Durable and requiring little maintenance, it offers a perfect compromise between resistance and glide quality
  • Smear Tech : a 3D bevelled sole is present on the tip and heel to provide a "surfy" feeling in all snow conditions. This original profile located at the ends of the ski will facilitate manoeuvrability in deep or light snow, for an effortless glide and a more natural position on the ski
  • 2.5 Impact Edge : very thick, this edge is made of heat treated steel and will resist to the most extreme conditions of use (rails, rocks, ...), for a long life
