Dedicated to the backcountry, with a 116mm skate and AR Freestyle Rocker shape, the ARV 116 JJ is the largest of the Armada line. Whether you're into wide open spaces and tricks of all kinds, this ski offers the perfect amount of lift for your favorite sport.
In fresh snow, this ski provides a surfy feel, thanks to the Smear Tech design and its 3D profile in the tip and tail, which allows you to slash your way through off-piste terrain. Thanks to the AR75 Sidewall construction, which makes it tolerant in the tip and tail , jumps over rock bars, pillows or stretches of virgin snow will be swallowed up while maintaining an irreproachable grip even on hard snow.
This ski is not only dedicated to ideal riding conditions, even if its main domain remains powder. It is also at ease in slush and crusty snow, to offer you great sensations wherever you go to put your line!

- AR Freestyle Rocker : a rocker in the tip and tail is combined with a positive camber underfoot, which provides ideal pop for spinning or pressing, while increasing the versatility of the ski, making it maneuverable on hard, changing or fresh snow
- Poplar Ash Core : this wood core combines the lightness of poplar with the stiffness of ash to provide a lively and powerful ride
- AR75 Sidewall : semi-cap sandwich construction, combining softness and forgiveness in the tip and heel, and a powerful and sturdy flex underfoot, so you don't lose power on hard snow
- S7 Base: this is the standard base used for the majority of the skis in the range. Durable and low maintenance, it offers a perfect compromise between resistance and glide quality
- Smear Tech: a 3D beveled sole is present on the tip and tail to provide a "surfy" feeling in all snow conditions. This original profile located at the ends of the ski will facilitate maneuverability in deep or loose snow, for an effortless glide and a more natural position on the ski
- 2.5 Impact Edge: very thick, this edge is made of heat treated steel and will resist the most extreme conditions of use (rails, rocks, ...), for a long life
