The PROTON HOODY W from Arc'Teryx is a women's hooded jacket that provides discreet but irreplaceable protection.

With breathable insulation to meet the demands of intense mountain activities, it makes an excellent mid-layer for keeping a constant temperature during a variety of strenuous activities. This breathable insulation allows excess heat and moisture to pass through the combination of air-permeable fabrics and insulation. As well as being extremely breathable, the Fortius™ Air 20 outer fabric meanwhile offers unrivalled strength and durability, having proven 60 times stronger than industry standards during abrasion testing.

In addition to its zipped pockets, this model incorporates the No Slip Zip™ system, which prevents the main opening from opening on its own, and a helmet-compatible insulated hood.
